So after many many weeks I have finally finished my hitchhiker shawl. I stopped doing it for a while I was finding it really tedious and wanted to start making other things. I spent a lot of time last weekend doing some and I have been taking it to work to do while I am having my lunch / tea. So are you excited about the big reveal?! You should be! hehe!

It’s so much bigger than I thought it was going to be! I haven’t blocked it as I don’t tend to block the things that I have made to be honest. I’m too impatient!

I’m really happy with the two tone as well actually, to begin with I wasn’t sure how good it would look, but I think it is really effective.

I love the way it sits around the neck and i’m pleased I haven’t knitted it too tight so that it didn’t drape very well.

I’m a little bit in love with the teeth on this shawl. I wonder if you could make it so it had teeth on both sides… Hmm, I may have to try that next time I want to make one.

I would recommend the pattern to everyone, I’m by no means an experienced knitter and I found this easy, just find a good book or something on the tv and get going!!
