When I wanted to learn how to crochet I bought Jan Eaton’s book called The Encyclopedia of Crochet Techniques. It has a section in there on broomstick crochet and I have finally gotten around to trying this stitch and I have to say that I love the effect it has.
I’m not sure what to make with it though… any of you out there that have tried to do this and made something with it? I’d love to hear what you have done!

Nice blog! Very pretty flowers around the edges π
Is this the JE book you think would be useful for my learning how to read symbol patterns?
TY for your kind comment on my blog, glad you're enjoying it. I'm new to blogging and am finding it great fun to make new bloggie contacts and get inspiration from others. (Not to mention help with crochet thingys!)
Best wishes,
Rachell
