I hope everyone has had a good week and enjoyed the hot weather. I have to say I was glad it was a bit cooler over the weekend, it was just a shame about the rain!

If you celebrated Father’s Day I hope it was enjoyable and if you are missing your dad then I hope you were able to find some joy in your day.

I haven’t managed to do very much crafting this week, I’ve mainly been working on the bottle cross stitch. Here’s where I am up to at the moment…

I’m using a slightly brighter white on the inside of the bottle, so that it ‘pops’ a bit more as when I think of a starry night I always imagine everything to bright and twinkling.

I think on the next bottle cross stitch I do I might make the sky a midnight blue rather than a black as well. I’ve got a camping one planned for bear’s room, which I will start once I have finished this and add to his gallery wall in his room.

This week I have also been working on my circus letter cross stitch collection. If you follow me on instagram you may have seen the A & J letters I have already done.

I’ve now started working on the ampersand although annoyingly I realised I had gone wrong and had to unpick part of it. Luckily I had only done half stitches so although it took a while it wasn’t too painful!
