So in attempt to post more regularly and to make sure I do some type of craft each week I want to try and do a weekly roundup of what I’ve been making / doing.

This week I have been mainly focussing on my lighthouse cross stitch and trying to finish off the hey Duggee blanket for bear.

If you follow me on Instagram, you may remember that I started the Hey Duggee blanket back in May last year, at the height of bears obsession with the show. I made a good start, but as always I got distracted by other projects and then bears interest in the show wained and so did my motivation for completing it and it was placed in the WIP basket of doom! He has recently started watching it again and so I have set myself the target of getting it finished over the next month or so.

The other project have been working on as I mentioned at the beginning of this post it my lighthouse cross stitch. It’s a really lovely pattern by XcrossstitchpatternX on Etsy and I love that it has that traditional tattoo vibe going on. It will look perfect on my little gallery wall I have in my craft / office space and I have bought an oval hoop to frame it in, which will look amazing! I’m making it on a light grey evenweave as I had some left over from the home sweet home cross stitch (which is currently in the WIP basket of doom!) as i thought it would compliment the pattern well.
