It’s been a long time since I did a taking stock post, so I thought today would be a good day to write one!

Making

A chevron blanket for D, it was originally a giant granny square, but I stopped making it to make the storm trooper blanket and the Captain America one. When I picked it up last month to try and finish it, I gave him the option of changing the pattern.. he’s now chosen a chevron one and I have to say I love it. I do think every house needs a granny square blanket of some description though! I always thought that they were quite old fashioned but I’m seeing more and more pop up on various social media that in the right colours they look lovely and I have been reinsured by them!

Cheesy pasta bake with garlic bread – yum!

Coke zero – I love it at the moment

Reading

The shining – I do feel like I’ve been reading it forever and it’s certainly not my favourite Stephen King book. I’m also reading The Girl Before by J P Delaney which is a really good book, I’m just over half way through and I know there’s still plenty of things that are going to happen!
