Well, it is May!! How has that happened?! Once again I haven’t posted in months… oops!
I have had the week off this week and on Wednesday D and I ventured to Studland, Dorset. We’ve been before but not for about 5 years. It’s a lovely beach owned by the National Trust. Parking is £9 a day for two adults (or free if you are a national trust member) personally I think £9 is a bargain if you want to spend the day at the beach. There’s a small cafe and a small national trust shop selling its usual array of items.

We first parked up at middle beach and looked down to the main beach, the view was amazing and we made our way down to knoll beach and parked there for the day. As it was a wednesday and out of school holidays it was lovely and quiet.
We sat on the beach and had a picnic, then went for a walk along one of the many different paths. We chose one to take us through the sand dunes and heather to little sea and then back to the main beach. The sea was still cold, but in places where the sun had been it was still lovely and refreshing.

It was the perfect way to spend a Wednesday.
