I saw that Rachel had done a post about her 16 goals for 2016 and although I have already been thinking about my new years craft resolutions (see my instagram) I thought I would also post them here and 16 things for 2016 seemed like a good idea!
so here we go:
- Finish using current stash of yarn before buying any more (unless it is more for a current project)
- Finish all my current WIPs or frog some of them. I currently have roughly 16 WIPs in various stages of completeness (post about that coming soon)
- Do more cross stitch, I find it so relaxing
- Make more stock for the shop
- Make Christmas stock by September!
- Do more free machine embroider
- Do more courses at the Makery in Bath (I love that place!)
- Make more for me and D and for the house
- Knit a pair of socks
- Learn to do cables in knitting
- Make some more amiguarmi and CE test (do any of you guys out there do this?)
- Re-organise craft room so it is a workable space, rather than a storage space.
- Sell more
- Network more
- Take on commissions
- Enjoy making more, it’s so important to enjoy what you make as otherwise it becomes a chore (hence why I have 16 WIPs!)
What are your top 16 things for 2016? They don’t all have to be craft related!
