Have you all has a lovely Christmas? Mine has been lovely and I have had some much needed time off work. Did you all manage to get your presents made? I did.. Almost! 

My nephews have been asking me to make them blankets for absolutely ages and I have been saying I will but never seem to get round to it (bad auntie I know!)

A wants a Captain America one (he originally wanted a Spider-Man one and then an iron man one, but seems happy with Captain America and J wants a stormtrooper one. 

I found a storm trooper grid here and I am making it with 4 round granny squares.

  
I’m making mine slightly different and having a black border all the way round as I thought that would be better for a 6 year old. 

It’s turning out a bit bigger than I anticipated but it just means that it will last him longer. I had hoped to get both the blankets made by Christmas but I think I was being far too optimistic!
