Christmas Making

Well Christmas is most definitely upon us now, I hope you are enjoying December so far! I am getting into the Christmas spirit slowly but surely but have been struggling as I have been off sick all week with a horrible cold. I have spent the last three days in bed and I am beginning to go a bit stir crazy to be honest. I’m looking forward to be going back to work, even if it is until Thursday and then I am off for two weeks! Hurray!!

Back in October I was asked to make a death star for a friends little boys birthday, unfortunately I also started a new job that month as well, so I didn’t manage to get it done in time, but it is now going to be his Christmas present instead (I need to get it finished ASAP!)

Here are some progress shots of it do far though…

I’m past the halfway point now and looking back over these photo’s I’ve also realised that I changed hook sizes! oops! There’s only 0.5mm difference between them so it shouldn’t affect it too much! It’s going to need a good stuffing to make sure it stays sphere shaped but I’m sure I can do it.
I’ve still got a few more Christmas presents to make as well and one last order to do after the death star. I think the Christmas presents may be late, but I’m sure they won’t mind!

    Hi Jennifer – I hope you're feeling better. Getting sick before Christmas is tough with all the things that need to get done. Hopefully, your cold will be gone by Thursday so you can enjoy your 2 weeks off. I'm just working on two Christmas pillows for the living room – everything else can wait to be finished.
