I can’t quite believe that it is December tomorrow and that yet again I haven’t posted anything for over month!
I’ve been quite busy making Christmas stock for a few markets, I have been to Bath artisan market twice and I also did the Devizes Christmas market. I’ve had a good few fairs and I have enjoyed doing them.
I think for the new year I’m going to focus more on my on-line profile and how I promote myself, fairs have kept me really busy of late and I’m finding it hard to fit everything in. I want to write more blog posts and I want to be able to find the time to write tutorials for the blog as well.
I will still do markets but I think I will be doing them only a few times a year rather than once or twice a month.
So onto what I have been doing over November!
I got into some new books, written by Gena Showalter, called The White Rabbit Chronicles. The first book is called Alice in Zombieland and is about a girl called Alice who lives in a world where zombies exist. I really like the way Gena has taken a different twist to the zombies and what they are and how they can be killed etc. It really set it apart from other books in this genre.
I love the two main characters Alice and Cole and watching their relationship develop through the course of the first group, and her best friend is very funny. The characters all bounce off each other really well and you can tell that Gena has put a lot of thought into the way the characters interact with each other and the histories of them.
I’ve started reading the second book, through the zombieglass so I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next.
I have done a bit of Christmas shopping, but I must admit mainly for myself or for the house. I bought a wooden Christmas tree from Bath Artisan Market made by a very talented lady called called Claire who is also known as Oh my lovely art
