I have had a lovely weekend this bank holiday weekend, I hope you have too and I’m sad that it is Tuesday morning already!
I haven’t done a huge amount of crafting over the last week as I have had a busy family weekend and was pretty busy at work last week. I also had a craft fair on Sunday at Frome Independent Market which was good and the weather was great.
I had a good post day on Saturday with some new wool arriving from Lynai Yarns after she had a sale on instagram.
I also got my pincushions from spincushions after she also had a sale on instagram.
I have been busy making my crochet mood blanket 2014 and trying to do a bit of a catch up, I have January completed now and have started Feb. As I’m doing a basic granny square I’m hoping it won’t take me too long to catch up.
I did think about doing the willow block from Jan Eaton’s 200 blocks to crochet book, but it took me quite a while and some of the colours I have picked for my blanket are quite dark and I’m not sure that they are that suitable for this particular project, but I will be using it for another project, maybe a cushion or a blanket.
Pinterest has been catching my eye a lot lately and has been inspiring me to try different things as well as go back to basics with my crocheting. Here are just a few of the things I have seen which I love!!!
The Eclectic Stitch’s pin on Pinterest.
I hope you feel inspired too!
