I can’t believe it is Sunday night again already. Where has the weekend gone?! what have you all been up to? I hope those of you in the U.K have managed to miss the showers! I’m currently sat watching Fargo on Channel 4 listening to it pouring outside.
I did a craft fair in Frome yesterday at the cheese and grain, it is a lovely venue and the weather wasn’t too bad although some people did come in looking rather wet!
I made some more baby bandanna’s for the shop on Friday evening. I’m still trying to find my niche at the moment on what to sell and where, doing craft fairs is a good way of establishing what sells well and seeing people’s reactions to the items is always nice.
How did those of you that sell the things you make decide that’s what you wanted to sell? do you focus on one subject or item? I found that at my fair yesterday most of my items were sewn items too which is quite unusual for me and an indicator of how short on time I am at the moment. I’m quite slow at knitting and crocheting.
I started making blanket for one of D’s nephews 6th birthday which is at the beginning of may, he has asked me to do a spider-man blanket for him so I am doing this pattern I found on ravelry which is by red heart. So far I have almost finished one of the segments so need to get a shift on as they are down next weekend!
I also got to test out my new trainers today, I’ve recently got back into running which is great for me as it’s a great way to clear my head. I got some brooks ravenna 5’s, they seem to be pretty comfortable but I think it will take a while to get used to the arch support in them.
