As I mentioned earlier in the month I have joined the crochet mood blanket 2014 crochet along via Facebook and Instagram. I haven’t done anything on it for ages as I am being really indecisive about the colours I am using as well as the pattern.

I started off doing squares…

I then decided I didn’t like it any more so I went onto chevrons…

But I now don’t like this anymore… I think it’s the colours as I was trying to do a stash busting exercise and using my spare balls of wool from other projects so I’m not overly keen on how the colours go together. When I started this project I didn’t want to buy any wool but I caved and bought the attic 24 colour pack and think i’m going to use some of the colours from this… I also started a cushion that will go with the blanket.

now I just have to decide on a design, I’m still liking chevrons but I am also drawn towards ripples, hexagons and the stripe as you go blanket…. I just can’t decide!!!! I don’t know why I am finding it so hard really!

Are any of you taking part in it? how are you all getting on? I keep seeing lots of lovely ones on Instagram and facebook, I’m sure these are what have lead to my indecisiveness!!
