So it’s Tuesday evening and I have been a busy bee today using up some of my toil. I made a zig zag cushion and a couple of knitting needle rolls.

I found the zig zag cushion a lot easier than I thought actually, although I should really press the seams when doing projects like this to ensure that everything lines up nice and neat.

The knitting rolls I really like making and they are quite quick to do which is always good! I have a lot if fabric at the moment and although I like to have fabric that clashes sometimes I find its better to have fabric that goes with each other and have a similar colour theme to it..

About a month ago I crocheted a bag that I was intending to felt and I managed to get it done this weekend. I’ll admit that it was a bit of an experiment and it was a basic sack bag pattern. I washed the wool twice on a 60 wash to ensure that it felted well and I didn’t have anything else in the washing machine with it. I’m quite happy with the way it turned out actually and will be lining it soon and it will be added to the shop or used for an example piece at craft fairs.
