It’s Sunday afternoon here at the eclectic stitch and I have had a lovely relaxing weekend so far. I have spent most of it knitting and crocheting. I had Friday off so I spent the day knitting a beanie, which I finished yesterday. I used my sock club yarn from a stash addict.
I’ve also started a blanket this weekend as well which will be available to buy once completed.
I really like this pattern and I got it from babylovebrand, it is a lovely pattern to do and so relaxing. I can’t wait to make more of them, and I’m sure it’s going to become one of my favourites alongside the ripple and the granny stripe.
I’ve been nosing through other people’s blogs lately looking for yarn recommendations and after seeing a bunch of buttons raving about lily’s sugar and cream I decided to order some today from yarnspirations along with some hoopla yarn from Amazon which is really thick cotton t-shirt like fabric, which i am hoping to make some baskets with to sell.
I can’t wait for all my packages to arrive and speaking of packages, I took part in a craft it forward on instagram earlier in the year, so when my package from Lauren over at the crocheted cupcake arrived I was so excited!
The scarf and bracelets that Lauren has made are gorgeous! I am looking forward to wearing my scarf this winter and already the weather has changed to cold and raining so I don’t think it will be too long before I start wearing it!
I am planning on making my craft it forward items this week at some point, although I am not 100% sure what I am going to make just yet… although I have some ideas.
I hope you are all having lovely weekends and that the weather is not to disruptive to people’s plans.
