I hope you are all having a lovely weekend. I have had a good one, it was d’s mum and dads 40th wedding anniversary celebration yesterday. They had a hog roast and lots of family and friends over. The pig was massiveness took hours to cook! Being a vegetarian I can’t say it was my favourite part of the day, but everyone seemed happy and it went down well with all the gatherers.

Today was Father’s Day so d and I popped over to my mum and dads to see my dad and give him his pressie. I bought him John Le Carre’s latest book and some traditional liquorice. I will be making sure I borrow the book once he has finished reading it (which will be in a few days I imagine!) as I quite like his books and recently started reading call for the dead after watching tinker, tailor, soldier, spy. The film was brilliant and Gary old man was fantastic and the story was really good so I’m looking forward to finding out more about smillie.

Tonight I have caught up on a bit of telly, we recorded horizon on BBC 2 this week as it was the secret life of cats. The documentary was about a village in Surrey who have 50 cats living there and they put GPS trackers on them. Those that moved around the most then got cameras and were filmed for a week from the cats perspective. It was really interesting to watch as I am often wondering what our cat does when he goes out and would love to fit a camera to him! But I don’t think he would appreciate it very much at all! The cats were very entertaining and it was cool to see how they interacted with each other when they came across each other. It was also interesting to see that other people’s cats would go into other cats houses and eat their food without the owners noticing. A very entertaining programme especially if you are a cat lover. Head on over to the BBC i player if you haven’t seen it. You won’t be disappointed!

Well that’s it for now and I will leave you with some photos of one of my favourite cats ever! My own (well he’s d’s actually, but I have inherited him!)
