Over the last few months I have become a little obsessed with owls.. I really like them and seem to spend a lot of time looking for patterns to do with owls and it has gotten worse ever since I made a cushion for my friends daughter and another one for a friend. The pattern was from the book All sewn up by Zoe Owens. Her book is brilliant and if you buy one book this year about sewing it should be this one!!

I want to try and do a crochet version of this now as well, and I think I will be able to design it, I just have to find the time to get designing..

I have found quite a few patterns on Ravelry that contain owls as well that are worth a look!

I have found a few blog posts about owls as well and I particularly like the granny owl square which is available from here by repeatcrafterme, her website is really good too!

I also recently obtained an owl hat pattern, which I am planning on making very soon indeed! Sarah from repeatcrafterme has also produced a pattern for these hats which is here (I told you her site was good!)
