So I have been busy again this week.. I have been crocheting and I have started to make my first ever quilt! I have been inspired by Chloe Owens craft book and making magazine. Both of which I absolutely LOVE!!

The crochet blanket I have been making is a granny stripe one, I originally was going to do the zig zag (see previous post) but I decided that I didn’t like it anymore!! So started another which I have to say I am a lot happier with.

I also started my first quilt, which is based on Chloe Owens quilt in her book. I have added a few extra bits and I am still deciding how to finish it off and whether to add another person to it…

I’ve really enjoyed making it so far and I am learning the skill of ‘doodling’ with my sewing machine which I think San be really effective and you don’t have to worry about being so neat either!!
